Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney (born November 19th, 1959)[2] is an American actor. It is well-known for her work across various types of screen and stage throughout her three decades of career. Janney was nominated twice for Tony Awards and has been recognized with two Academy Award as well as an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. Janney was raised in Dayton and Boston by her parents, got a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art to continue her studies after finishing Kenyon College. Janney received credit for a number of small and infrequent television and film appearances over the years. Her breakout character in the role of C. J. Cregg in the NBC show The West Wing (1999-2006) brought her 4 Primetime Emmy Awards. The show won her the Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for Best Guest Actress on for a Drama Series, for playing Margaret Scully's part on Masters of Sex. She played Bonnie Plunkett
