Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's most outstanding athletes. The 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games and was also the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles was raised in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her younger sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics when she was just six in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and remained there for eleven years under the direction of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles, who won gold and bronze medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault prior to her first appearance in 2011 in the elite division of gymnastics competition. In less than two years, she became the top athlete in her field. Biles stood out for her consistency in performance, vivacious persona, and the difficulty she encountered across each of the four events: vault, uneven bars and the balance beam.
